Green Group donates 30,000 protection masks to pupils enrolled in Maxenu School of Tintesti Township

Green Group, the biggest integrated recycling group in Romania, is donating 30.000 protection masks to Maxenu School and its subordinating units within Tintesti Township area. The donation covers the necessary protective equipment for all pupils enrolled in the school’s units from Maxenu, Tintesti and Pogonele villages, for the entire first school semester.

Green Group donation went to Tintesti township, where GreenTech and GreenWEEE plants operate.

We are part of this community and we have the responsibility to help it grow. Supporting Tintesti community is a priority for us, and as school year started, we decided to get involved so that we can overcome this difficult time together, especially since dozens of Green Group employees have children enrolled in Maxenu School

Alina Genes, GreenTech CEO

As school started, the battle for health became a battle for education. We are aware that now struggles are even harder for rural communities, whose resources are limited. It is why we decided to support Maxenu School and provide them with the necessary number of sanitary masks, so that all pupils are covered by the end of the first school semester

Marius Costache, CEO of GreenWEEE International

The masks have child-size proportions and comply with the EU standards for COVID-19 protective equipment.

The first 10,000 units were delivered today, 16th of September, in the presence of Green Group representatives and School officials. The rest will be delivered during the following months.

This donation act/action is a model of social responsibility and one of real support for children’s safety. In such difficult moments, involvement, solidarity and responsibility of each one of us can lead to change for the better. All of Maxenu collective is grateful for this donation, for the group’s active involvement and for not staying indifferent to our community. Be assured that all given to us will be put to use with a great deal of responsibility

Liliana Ivănel, Maxenu School Principal
